Pumpkin Patch Punch

5 minutes · 4 small servings

A bright orange, fruity drink. No pumpkin needed!

What you’ll need

  • 1 cup (240 ml) chilled, pasteurized orange juice
  • 1 cup (240 ml) chilled, pasteurized apple juice
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold sparkling water

Let’s make it

  1. Pour both juices into a pitcher.
  2. Slowly stir in the sparkling water.
  3. Divide among four small cups and serve right away.

Little helper’s job: Help measure, pour, and gently stir.

Grown-up note: Use pasteurized juices. For pumpkin faces, decorate only the outside of cups before filling. No added candy or hard garnishes.

Little Mummy Pizzas

About 15 minutes · 4 mini pizzas

Cozy little pizzas wrapped in cheesy bandages.

What you’ll need

  • 2 English muffins, split into 4 halves
  • ¼ cup (4 tablespoons) pizza sauce
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese, cut into thin strips
  • A little finely chopped black olive for eyes

Let’s make it

  1. Grown-up: Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Put muffin halves on a baking sheet.
  2. Spread 1 tablespoon of sauce on each half.
  3. Lay cheese strips across each pizza like mummy bandages, leaving space for eyes.
  4. Add two tiny bits of chopped olive for each mummy’s eyes.
  5. Grown-up: Bake for 8–10 minutes, until the cheese melts and the pizzas are hot.
  6. Grown-up: Let cool, then cut into manageable pieces before serving.

Little helper’s job: Spread the sauce and arrange the cheese bandages with clean hands.

Grown-up note: Contains wheat and milk; check all labels for allergies. A grown-up handles knives, the oven, and the hot baking sheet. Children should sit and be supervised while eating.
